I offer online therapy for clients who are physically located in the state of California only. 

If you are outside of the US, we may still be able to work together. It’s important to check if I am legally authorized to provide online therapy services in the country where you’re currently located.

insurance coverage

Now accepting the following insurance plans: Optum, Aetna, Cigna.

I am an out-of-network provider for private pay clients. I offer an “out-of-network superbill” that clients can provide to their insurance company for reimbursement. This is a special invoice with all the information you will need to submit to your insurance company yourself to see if they will reimburse a portion of the fees.

Some clients have had success submitting an “out-of-network superbill” to their insurance provider. In some cases, these sessions have been partially if not completely reimbursed. Check with your insurance to find out about your out-of-network insurance benefits and if this is an option for you.

  • Payment is due at the time of service. Major Credit Cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). If using insurance, insurance will be billed directly.

    For private pay clients, I can provide you with a superbill invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Please verify reimbursement is possible with your insurance company.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

    Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

  • Appointments can be booked online. Regularly seen clients will have access to the ‘Client Portal’ and are in charge of booking their own appointments. Booking in advance is possible. Cancellations must be made online through the ‘Client Portal’ please note that I need 24 hours’ notice of any cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in full billing of the scheduled time, $240.00. Please call me directly if you need to cancel within 24 hours.

  • After we agree on a good day and time to meet, I will provide you with access to the ‘Client Portal’, where you will be able to schedule and cancel future appointments. This will also be where you will find the link to our online sessions. The online system I use is encrypted and secure, so your private information is protected.
